Chez Xavier sits at the top of a hill outside of Les Arcs sur Argens looking across to what Mary James describes as the ‘Blue Ridge’. It is actually the hills going up to the Gorge du Verdon or Grand Canyon of France. Beautiful! As is the almost 3 acres that supplies much of what is on the dinner table….olives, artichokes, apricots, figs, grapes, almonds, quince, truffles and a garden full of vegetables. Everything is grown organically with meal preparations respecting the seasons. 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
On the other hand, chez Mary James is in North Carolina plus she hails from Kentucky. So some recipes and blog posts will have a USA focus. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
