For at least 20 years, I have owned a dozen of these square 19″ French terry towels….but I have never used them as a towel. They have always been our everyday family napkin and my ‘go to’ napkin for casual entertaining especially BBQ’s and lap buffets. They are ideal for their durability and washability, plus NO iron! Don’t know what I would have done without them.
For years I have tried to find them again…..both in Provence and the USA. No luck until……I walked into The Extra Ingredient one day and was introduced to a French sales rep. Lo and behold, she was a rep for this company. Could not resist, I bought 2 dozen more. Go see Art and Martha, they’ll fix you right up. There are more choices than shown here. You will never use a paper napkin again! In our household, everyone had a different design so that it was not necessary to change them everyday. After using the French terry kitchen towel as a napkin, you will understand why they are a “MJ Must Have”!
However, if you are in the market for a towel, this same company has beautiful French jacquard towels. Absorbent. Great for your hands or for glassware and beautiful hanging in your kitchen. They wear extremely well.
